48-townhouse residential development in Logan — full civil engineering package including earthworks, shared driveway, stormwater, and utility design.

The Challenge

The site had significant cut-and-fill requirements across an undulating terrain, with the bulk earthworks needing to be balanced to avoid costly haulage off-site.

Our Solution

We used Civil 3D to optimise the earthworks design to within 200 m³ of balance, saving the client an estimated $150,000 in haulage costs. The shared driveway was designed to accommodate both standard passenger vehicles and waste collection.

Outcomes
